WHAT IS NON – LOAD BEARING WALL?

A framed wall is any wall in home that is not a load bearing wall. It’s a wall in a structure that does not carry any of the weight of the structure above it. It does not help the structure stand up.

Closets are a typical example of walls which are not load bearing walls, Also called partition walls, framed walls create internal rooms in a home.

They can be moved, removed or shortened without affecting the building’s structural integrity. 

These walls are constructed just to act as partition between different rooms or as outer covering of a building.
